Practicing since 2016 (authorized June 2019 in NY, May 2016 in El Salvador)
Omar Vaquerano is originally from El Salvador. He immigrated in 2012 after graduating from law school in El Salvador to achieve his goal of practicing as an attorney in the United States. He obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and later earned his Juris Doctor (J.D) degree from the Emory University School of Law. He is licensed to practice as an attorney by the State of New York and by the Supreme Court of El Salvador.
Omar has practiced in the areas of international commercial arbitration, corporate law, business law, employment-based immigration, and family-based immigration. He has focused his practice exclusively on immigration law since 2019, helping his clients in a wide variety of cases including naturalization, adjustment of status, provisional unlawful presence waivers and removal defense. Omar is deeply passionate about his work for the immigrant community. As an immigrant who experienced first-hand the arduous process of becoming a lawful permanent resident and a U.S citizen, he is especially motivated to help other individuals who need guidance while navigating similar or more difficult paths in their effort to make their dreams a reality.
