Robert J. Moylan, Esq. is an experienced immigration attorney who has made more than 1,000 appearances before immigration courts across the country. Originally from the East Coast, Robert grew up in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, where he graduated from DeMatha Catholic High School in 2003. After graduating high school, Robert attended Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where earned a bachelor’s degree in international area studies. in 2007.

After receiving his undergraduate degree, Robert moved to New York City, where he began working for several years as a paralegal at one of the most prestigious law firms in the country. While working as a full-time paralegal, Robert also attended law school as a part-time/evening student. Robert earned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 2014, where he was on the Dean’s List for academic excellence, in addition to receiving the D. George Levine Memorial Award for his outstanding performance in the area of real estate.

After graduating from law school, Robert worked at a large law firm in Long Island, New York, where his primary duties were defending noncitizens in removal/deportation proceedings before the EOIR and representing noncitizens applying for immigration benefits through USCIS.

Robert is a strong advocate for the due process rights of non-citizens and, above all, their right to pursue the American dream. Robert has dedicated his entire law practice to immigration, an area where his passion and talent converge. Robert is thrilled to be a part of The Defense League, where he hopes his experience and knowledge will have an impact on the non-citizen communities of Los Angeles.
