Mauricio Jimenez is an immigration attorney who speaks Spanish and English fluently. He is originally from Colombia. Having arrived to the United States as a young child, he has firsthand experience of the immigrant path and realities many face while navigating the immigration process. From these humble beginnings, he developed a passion for immigration.

Mauricio brings a wealth of experience in immigration where he has won cases involving asylum, cancellation of removal, removal of conditions, suspension of deportation, NACARA, adjustment of status with waivers, 212(c), 237(a)(1)(H), and even termination of proceedings for his client’s facing removal or deportation. He has appeared before immigration courtrooms across the United States including Atlanta, Cleveland, Elizabeth, Dallas, Houston, San Diego, Harlingen, San Antonio, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Honolulu, Orlando, and Miami. He also has extensive experience with appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mauricio received his Juris Doctorate degree from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and focused his practice exclusively on Immigration Law. Mauricio enjoys researching and identifying arguments from nuanced areas of law that can help make a difference in his client’s cases. Driven by his family experience, Mauricio works diligently and effectively to find ways to reach the optimal result.
