Hunter Griffin

Born in Denton, Texas, Hunter attended law school as a part-time student at the University of North Texas College of Law. Upon graduation, Hunter was awarded with the Judge Merrill Hartman Distinguished Service Award for his volunteer work with Legal Aid of Northwest Texas and the Resource Center. Additionally, while attending law school during the evenings, Hunter was employed as a law clerk, where he worked on civil matters such as personal injury, and breach of contract.

Hunter was licensed to practice law in 2020 and shortly after obtaining licensure began serving as an Assistant District Attorney with the El Paso District Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted felony and misdemeanor cases for approximately three years. Now, as a proud member of La Liga Defensora, Hunter specializes in Post-Conviction Relief and criminal defense.
